Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dodge County & Watertown Community is a non-profit organization. As the nation’s oldest, successful mentoring body, BBBS makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”). The local organization offers both a community-based program and a school-based program entitled “Big Buddies.” BBBS partners with parents, volunteers and others in the community and is accountable for each child in their programs achieving higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships. Almost 80 children in the area were matched with mentors this past year, yet more are still waiting. This is a free program to the families we serve.
